The day after picking the 180SX up all the parts were dropped off to get her straight again, well almost straight as the donor panels weren't the best... Nissan made the job easy with identical front half of the car between S13 Silvia and 180sx, simply unbolt one front end and fit the other...
After a quick but gentle pull on the radiator support, using well placed ratchet straps and a forklift, the panels were test fitted... Nearly Spot on at a first attempt!
With a bit more 'persuasion' in some areas the damage is almost invisible under the bonnet, and all the panels and front end fitted with ease, S13 lights wired up.. The SilEighty was now ready for initial road worthiness inspection... To my delight the RWC only came back with a few minor items like adjusting the handbrake, wiper blades, and one indicator globe out.
